 With "still crashes" I meant after I have fixed the Java environment I
 tried to reinstall. And even after a complete removal and reinstallation
 of MacPorts this happens.
 I have added a new main.log to the attachments.

 What might be an issue is that I have only installed the Java 7 SE JDK and
 not (yet) the JRE. The directory structure I have in
 /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines is two different JDK directories:
 - jdk1.7.0_25.jdk
 - jdk1.7.0_45.jdk
