 You test case seems to work OK for me,

 {{{
 MacBookPro ~ > root -l macro.C+
 root [0]
 Processing macro.C+...
 Info in <TUnixSystem::ACLiC>: creating shared library
 /Users/chris/./macro_C.so
 root [1] macro()
 root [2]
 }}}

 So it seems all is OK ;)
