 I added a dependency on python27 in r113590 since it does link with it,
 but it still needs to be told to use MacPorts python for everything and
 not try to use the system python. The build succeeds on Mavericks, where
 the system python is 2.7, but it would presumably not work so well if the
 system python is a different version.
