New description:

Received an email from social security's web site that their updated 2014
detailed benefit calculator will be released later this year for the Mac
is not compatible with the Lion and Lion Mountain versions of the Mac
 operating system

Would be glad to forward a copy of the email if requested.

Once a year I download the social security's update detailed calculator
for my Mac. My way of seeing if my own detailed calculations are correct
 using my own spreadsheet program.

I'm retired and 75 years old and over the years I've encountered numerous
problems with social security concerning my monthly PIA payments over the
 year.

Therefore, I will never upgrade my computer for the Lion and Mountain Lion
versions of the Mac operating system.

 Thank you: Ronald A. Haw

Comment:

Please do not write all uppercase, it makes the text hard to read.

I'm not sure why you filed this bug with us – MacPorts is not the group
that builds the OS X operating system (that's Apple, and their bugtracker
is at https://bugreport.apple.com/) and not the group that builds the
Anypia application for Mac (I couldn't find their bugtracker, only a
statement that they are working on a version that will work with Lion,
 Mountain Lion and Mavericks).

I think it is the duty of the developers of the Anypia application to
update it in a way that will work with newer releases on OS X. There's
nothing the MacPorts people can do about this.
