 Thanks! I was just independently coming to the conclusion that hugin-app
 needs [https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/changeset/81628 upstream changeset
 81628] and was wondering if it was included in boost 1.55.0. So, you've
 already tried boost 1.55.0... does that mean you have a patch for the
 portfile that you can attach here?
