Comment:

 gnudatalanguage installs fine for me on Mavericks.

 Your log says:

 {{{
 fatal error: '/usr/include/fnmatch.h' file not found
 }}}

 And does that file exist? It should. Have you installed the Xcode command
 line tools by running `xcode-select --install`? If not, do that.

 Also, this was not a clean attempt, so after installing the command line
 tools, or if you already have,
 [http://guide.macports.org/chunked/project.html#project.tickets.prerequisites
 clean and try again].
