Comment:

 I see you're on Mavericks, which has not yet been released and is not yet
 supported by MacPorts. I see the extract phase failed. Please attach the
 main.log file so we can see why it failed. Mavericks doesn't have
 `gnutar`; we've already had a few other reports of extracts failing on
 Mavericks because of that. How did you install MacPorts—did you build from
 source?
