 (+1) I would be interested in this as well. Is this considered a
 maintainer timeout? It is an update only and there are missing
 dependencies (new commits).

 Some more things:
 - The current version is now at 0.6.5;
 - support of Python 2.6 and 2.7 only;
 - now there seems to be a port for Python 2.5, what to do about this
 discontinue or keep the older version?
 - the build dependency on distribute needs replacing with setuptools;
