 Now that you've pointed it out, I have. But this is going further down the
 rabbit-hole, since a response from the GCC people (assuming I reported it
 correctly, and it's not a dupe) will almost certainly involve further
 tinkering with the innards of MacPorts in ways only a ports
 developer/maintainer would be comfortable with ...
