Comment (by s.t.smith@…):
Thanks -- this fix worked for me, allowing a successful build of wine-
devel and winetricks on Mavericks.
For helpful specificity, the Portfile is at
{{{
./var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/gnome/gstreamer010/Portfile
}}}

> gmessages.h as mentioned in the compile log defines G_LOG_DOMAIN to a
NULL character pointer if its value is not defined externally (line 143).
It is defined somewhere to g_log_domain_gstreamer, which does not exist.
As a workaround you can simply override the bad definition of G_LOG_DOMAIN
by appending "-DG_LOG_DOMAIN=0" to the end of the "configure.cflags-
append" in the Portfile (or rather a copy of the Portfile in a local
Portfile repository).
> Alternatively try defining "g_log_domain_gstreamer" to 0 to avoid
compiler warnings about macro re-definition of G_LOG_DOMAIN.

> (According to http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/gstreamer-
bugs/2004-May/007234.html, g_log_domain_gstreamer used to exist in
"gstlog.h". This file no longer exists in glib, but could be a clue to the
location of the rogue definition.)
