Comment:

 Don't know how to explain that. The glib2 port
 [http://www.macports.org/ports.php?by=name&substr=glib2 obviously]
 [browser:trunk/dports/devel/glib2 exists]. What's the output of "sudo port
 -v selfupdate"? Do you have a local ports tree that might be masking the
 official glib2 somehow?
