 I must add that:

 I downloaded the source tarball from
 [http://srtp.sourceforge.net/srtp.html SourceForge] and tried to build it
 but got the very same error.

 Cloned the [https://github.com/cisco/libsrtp GitHub] project and finally
 managed to get the libsrtp built.
