#38850: wxWidgets 2.9: broken support for dead keys (in wxmaxima)
--------------------------------------+-------------------
Reporter: mk@… | Owner: jwa@…
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version:
Resolution: | Keywords:
Port: wxMaxima, wxWidgets-3.0 |
--------------------------------------+-------------------
Comment (by mk@…):
Here is what I have installed at this moment in time:
{{{
$ port installed wx*
The following ports are currently installed:
wxMaxima @12.01.0_2+wxwidgets30
wxMaxima @12.01.0_3 (active)
wxWidgets-3.0 @2.9.5_1 (active)
wxWidgets30 @2.9.5_0+sdl
wxWidgets30 @2.9.5_1+sdl
wxWidgets30 @2.9.5_2+sdl (active)
wxWidgets_select @1.0_0 (active)
}}}
When I now enter this function:
{{{
f(x) := 2*x+1;
}}}
and choose "Calculate/Differentiate" from the menu I enter the
"Differentiate" dialog.
If I now enter "{{{f(}}}" (i.e. the funtion {{{f}}} with its opening
bracket) in the Expression edit field the application crashes with the
attached crashlog.
This has nothing to do with the hat operator, but it seems to be related.
Let me know how I can help you to get to the bottom of all of this.
