 This looks like a similar issue has been presented before (see
 [https://trac.macports.org/ticket/19381 ticket # 19381]), but it has since
 been marked fixed. I have recently (i.e., within the past year-ish) built
 ImageMagick on Snow Leopard from MacPorts without issue. This appears to
 be relatively new.
