 When upgrading Code::Blocks I added a whole bunch of dependencies, but
 many of those might be just dependencies of GTK2. I'm also not sure if
 boost is really needed anywhere else but in the GTK-based installation.

 Someone should carefully check which ones are true dependencies and which
 ones are there just for the sake of GTK.
