 How do you make a {{{.desktop}}} file and how do you launch such an
 application?

 I don't understand what is wrong with wxGTK-based app bundle (other than
 the ugliness of GTK on Mac) or how/why it would be so much inferior to
 wxMac-based one. It could be used in exactly the same way as the native
 one, by clicking on the icon to launch it.

 Of course one can always run the binary from terminal with
 {{{
 ${prefix}/bin/codeblocks
 }}}
 but an app also seems nice.
