 I have been examining the gdk/ header files, and I wonder if gdkx.h can
 simply be replaced with gdk.h.  It compiles that way fine for a +quartz
 environment, but I am wondering if somebody would be willing to test this
 for the default x11 environment.  Please see attached patches.
