 Buld works for mee now, os/x 10.8.4 64-bit.
   `sudo port install avidemux`

 Some issues
  * no with sound (tried quicktime .mov files (MP4 with qt codec), and .MP4
 (avc1 codec).
    No movement on the audio level meter either.

  * clicking 'configure' buttone under Lavcodec subheading does nothing
 except display:

    `[HandleAction]  ************ DecoderOption **************`

  * Preferences menu does not open either, I get

    `[HandleAction]  ************ PREFERENCES **************`
