 I just tried installing the gcl port on my Macbook and it failed.  I am
 running Mac OS 10.7.5 and using XCode 4.6.3.   The error message produced
 is:

 --->  Configuring gcl
 Error: Failed to configure gcl, consult
 /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_lang_gcl/gcl/work/gcl-2.6.7/config.log
 Error: org.macports.configure for port gcl returned: configure failure:
 command execution failed

 I get the same error following a "sudo port clean gcl".

 Looking at the relevant log files (which I hope to remember to attach to
 this ticket), I see that configure is failing when running a code snippet
 that wants to include <syscall.h>.  Poking around my computer, I can find
 <sys/syscall.h>, but no <syscall.h>.
