 sudo port install gcc49 [[BR]]


 Error: Unable to execute port: Can't install libgcc-devel because
 conflicting ports are installed: libgcc[[BR]]


 Then,[[BR]]

 sudo port uninstall gcc48 @4.8.1_0[[BR]]

 sudo port uninstall gcc48 @4.8.1_2[[BR]]

 Tried reinstalling gcc48 [[BR]]

 sudo port install gcc48 [[BR]]

 --->  Computing dependencies for libgcc [[BR]]

 --->  Building libgcc[[BR]]

 Error: org.macports.build for port libgcc returned: command execution
 failed[[BR]]


 inside the log file:[[BR]]

 :info:build checking whether the GNU Fortran compiler is working...
 no[[BR]]


 reinstalled gfortran from Link:
 http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortranBinariesMacOS [[BR]]


 Error persists
