 I need to tell that even with a working macports-clang-3.3 I was not able
 to build boost @1.54.0 on my 10.5.8 ppc G4. It already fails in the very
 beginning when processing boostrap.sh. In boostrap.log this error is being
 reported:

 supported in _debug_compile from
 /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_boost/boost/work/.tmp

 I will attach both the main.log as well as the bootstrap.log
