 You could follow-up with upstream
 (http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2464) and/or try to
 generate an updated version of the patch that does work correctly. I don't
 use this variant myself - if it's broken beyond repair, we should probably
 remove it from the port.
