 Hi,

 The attached patch fixes a issue with the ROOT port which means building
 of the graphical event display (Eve) library is disabled, due to a missing
 dependency on mesa. If mesa is not installed, ROOT will opportunistically
 find other libraries (for instance from Xquartx) so to avoid this I've
 added mesa as a straight dependency.

 As part of the investigations into the above issue I also noticed the GDML
 lirbary was disabled. This has no dependencies, so I have just enabled it.
 I also fixed some issues with some patching of the configure script.
