Comment:

 xdvi support is available in the +x11 variant, which is supposed to be
 enabled by default but was recently inadvertently dropped from the default
 variants list.

 Defaults fixed in r111334.

 To correct your installation, `sudo port install texlive-bin +x11` (or
 +motif if you prefer the Motif interface)
