 Hi,
 do you experience actual issues with gtk-osx-application in python ?
 With the new gtk3 there is no more need for specific code; everything
 works through gobject-introspection.

 You should try to run python2.7 and paste this code:

 {{{
 from gi.repository.GtkosxApplication import Application
 a = Application()

 # make it jump
 a.attention_request(0)

 # stop jumping
 a.cancel_attention_request(0)
 }}}

 It works for me ;-)
