 CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS must be empty when configure is run.[[BR]]
 As best I can tell, the problem is:

 CFLAGS='-isysroot/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.9.sdk'
 }}}

 Could you please try the attached patch to see if it works in clearing
 CFLAGS.
