 I just checked in the changes in r118654.  Please do:
 {{{
 sudo port clean bladeRF
 sudo port selfupdate
 sudo port install bladeRF
 }}}
 and see if that fixes this issue.  I do not have an OSX 1.6 box on which
 to do testing ...
