If you installed from sources, when did this happen?
I suspect currently source build is broken. If you do not see problems on
one computer it (1) might have been installed from binary package (seems
to be still working for 10.8.5) or (2) it was build before the change
which broke the port.
I have no idea what broke the port though ...
