 It seems strange that the system header string.h cannot be found.[[BR]]
 What is the output of

 ls -al /usr/include/string.h
 }}}

 If the file does not exist, you may not have command line tools installed

 MacPorts Guide]).[[BR]]
 The command line tools can be easily installed by running the command
 {{{
 xcode-select --install
 }}}
