 You must only set default_variants if none of the other conflicting
 variants has been selected by the user. See
 PortfileRecipes#default_variants. The default mysql variant we've been
 using in other ports is +mysql5 but it's high time that we changed that to
 +mysql56 so we may as well start with that here.
