 The port builds and installs fine, but one final remark bothers me:

 /opt/local/share/logtalk-3.00.0-b2/scripts/freedesktop/logtalk.xml ->
 /opt/local/share/mime/packages/logtalk.xml

 Note that '/opt/local/share' is not in the search path
 set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS
 environment variables, so applications may not
 be able to find it until you set them. The
 directories currently searched are:

 - /opt/local/var/macports/build/_path_to_lang_logtalk-devel/logtalk-
 devel/work/.home/.local/share
 - /usr/local/share/
 - /usr/share/
