 That doesn't make sense... /opt/local/bin/ranlib is your MacPorts'
 provided cctools.  It should be up to date...

 Oh wait, this is on Leopard, so you have an older cctools in order to
 support ppc, so it doesn't know about newer load commands...

 ugg...
