#44525: c_count @7.14 conflicts with sloccount @2.26
---------------------+--------------------------------
 Reporter:  egall@…  |      Owner:  macports-tickets@…
     Type:  defect   |     Status:  new
 Priority:  Normal   |  Milestone:
Component:  ports    |    Version:  2.3.1
 Keywords:           |       Port:  c_count sloccount
---------------------+--------------------------------
 They both try to install a binary named `c_count`:
 {{{
 x ./opt/local/share/man/man1/c_count.1.gz
 x ./opt/local/bin/c_count
 Error: org.macports.activate for port c_count returned: Image error:
 /opt/local/bin/c_count is being used by the active sloccount port. Please
 deactivate this port first, or use 'port -f activate c_count' to force the
 activation.
 DEBUG: Error code: registry::image-error
 DEBUG: Backtrace: Image error: /opt/local/bin/c_count is being used by the
 active sloccount port. Please deactivate this port first, or use 'port -f
 activate c_count' to force the activation.
 }}}
 The upstream page for `c_count` notes this conflict as well: [http
 ://invisible-island.net/c_count/c_count.html#design_useless] [[BR]]
 Seeing as the conflict is long-standing (at least according to the
 upstream `c_count` source), I would just mark the ports as conflicting
 instead of trying to solve the conflict.
