 This raises an issue I hadn't considered before.

 If a port's master_sites URL goes bad, will the distfile disappear from
 http://distfiles.macports.org and its mirrors after some time-out?  Are
 you suggesting committing a copy of the distfile to
 http://svn.macports.org/repository/macports/distfiles/tinyca2?
