 But the port doesn't modify `Makefile.am`, `configure.ac` or any other
 `m4` files. It only patches ltmain.sh. So either, the timestamps of the
 files are wrong on extraction (which we should, however, notice in a non-
 universal build), or somehow the x86_64 version of the source tree has
 corrupted/incorrect timestamps.
