 Indeed my /opt/local/include/openjpeg.h was pointing to
 openjpeg-2.1//openjpeg.h. I had changed it previously b/c I was installing
 ImageMagick @6.8.9-7 outside macports.

 Thanks a lot for the tip.

 as soon as I changed my openjpeg.h link to openjpeg-1.5/openjpeg.h poppler
 upgraded w/o any problem
