 This is strange. My systems all run 10.9.4 and have texinfo 5.2 installed.
 I just clean installed MacPorts on a 10.8.5 system. Without MacPorts
 texinfo 5.2, gnutls +dane @3.3.7 built w/o any problems.

 Somehow the code related to documentation timestamps was deleted, along
 with an obsolete patch file, in the latest update. We might want to try
 reverting the pre-patch and post-patch code.
