 I played around with this but could not get around the fact that macports
 issues the "make -w all" command to build and "make -w install" to
 install. The best solution for now is that I've simply removed the
 variant, so that all libraries and the fortran interface are always
 compiled.

 Hence all variants now work. While playing around I updated to 0.9.1 so
 Portfile is updated there too.
