Comment:

 Lapack as provided by netlib.org, is a reference implementation and not
 optimized at all. Therefore, it is of limited value for practical uses.

 However you have the following options:

 * Mac OS X comes already with optimized Lapack libraries in the Accelerate
 Framework.
 * Macports provides the ports atlas and openblas, which are optimized.

 So, if there is no good reason I missed to provide netlib Lapack, I would
 propose to close this as `wontfix`.
