 The current MacPorts version of armadillo (4.450) has a bug:

 This was fixed in Armadillo 4.550.

Comment:

 As reporter, you needn't Cc yourself. You should add the keyword
 "maintainer" when you are the maintainer of the port, and use the keyword
 "haspatch" when you are providing a patch. Remember also to use
 WikiFormatting.
