 The issue seems to be due to some linkage error:

 __ZN11KFileDialog4execEv

 /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/okular.app/Contents/MacOS/okular
   Expected in: /opt/local/lib/libkio.5.dylib

 It also occurs when trying to open files from the interface menu, but the
 drag and drop is working. I unfortunately have no solution for this now.
