 According to my counting there are currently four or five ports that are
 incompatible with wxPython 3.0 (see the initial ticket #38375):

 2.8-only:
   * `python/py-dsv` (cca. 1000 lines of possibly abandoned Python code)

 compiles with 3.0, but doesn't work properly:
   * `gis/grass` (new version theoretically works with 3.0, but there are
 some issues left on mac; #42161, #44056)
   * `python/py-mayavi`
   * `python/py-pyface` (https://github.com/enthought/pyface/issues/96)
   * `python/py-robotframework-ride` (https://code.google.com/p
 /robotframework-ride/issues/detail?id=888)

 ----

 fully compatible with 3.0:
   * `python/py-pyphant`
   * `python/py-sogl`
   * `python/py-winpdb`
   * `science/gnuradio`
   * `science/gr-fosphor`
   * `science/relax`
   * `science/stimfit`

 I opened this ticket to track the progress towards the ideal world where
 supporting just wxPython 3.0 will be sufficient.
