 wget does not know any certificate issuing authorities. One has to add the
 following line into .wgetrc by hand.

 CA_CERTIFICATE=/opt/local/share/curl/curl-ca-bundle.crt

 It would be much better to have the package depend on the curl ca bundle
 and by default look for the certificates in the listed directory by
 default.
