Comment:

 The log you attached is incomplete.
 Usually we would ask you to
 [http://guide.macports.org/chunked/project.html#project.tickets.prerequisites
 clean and try again].
 However I suspect the new log would still say:

 {{{
 fatal error: stdio.h: No such file or directory
 }}}

 Does the file /usr/include/stdio.h in fact exist or not?
 If not, have you installed the Xcode command line tools?
 If not, please do, by running `xcode-select --install`.
