#42497: boost +universal fails with "bad register name" over a million times
--------------------+--------------------------------
 Reporter: me@… | Owner: macports-tickets@…
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 2.2.1
 Keywords: | Port: boost
--------------------+--------------------------------
 using
 `boost-1.55.0_1+gcc49+no_single+no_static+python33+regex_match_extra+universal.darwin_13.i386-x86_64.tbz2`

The first thing that looks like it might be an error is "`info:build -
Boost.Locale needs either iconv or ICU library to be built.`", but it
seems to go on to say it will build everything it needs.

There are over 1.5 million "`bad register name`" errors

 There are over 125 thousand "`not a valid base/index expression`" errors

It seems to summarize all of these with "`:info:build ...failed
 darwin.compile.c++ bin.v2/libs/wave/build/darwin-4.9.0/release/address-
 model-32_64/architecture-x86/pch-off/threading-
 multi/cpplexer/re2clex/cpp_re.o...`"

(In case it's related, this is on the same system as ticket #41753, after
upgrading to Mavericks and successfully installing libgcc. boost is
another dependency of some ports which also depend on libgcc, so could not
 be installed before the upgrade.)
