New description:

 Platform:
 Mac OS X 10.5.8 Intel

 I ran port selfupdate and port upgrade outdated and the process failed for
 at-spi2-core

 I think this is the problem:

 :info:configure checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser
 perl module is required for intltool
 }}}

 I have attached configure.log and main.log
