 I get the same error when trying to run
 {{{
 $ python2.7
 /opt/local/share/dolfin/demo/documented/poisson/python/demo_poisson.py
 }}}

 Here is the python list that I get from port
 {{{
 Available versions for python:
         none
         python25-apple
         python26-apple
         python27 (active)
         python27-apple
 }}}
