 Can you temporarily move `/usr/local` to something like `~/Desktop/backup-
 local`? Then remove `~/.instant`, run `hash -rf`, and then try again? As a
 reminder, putting things in `/usr/local` causes headaches and is against
 the MacPorts guidelines.
