 Please not that the "stable" release dates back to 2001-05-31. The last
 changes in git repository are from November 2013.

 What I meant with feedback was testing if the devel port works at all.

 Sure, if anyone is willing to start cherry-picking the changes, go ahead,
 but I don't see any real benefit in doing that starting from a release
 from 13 years ago.
