New description:
I tried installing py27-wxpython-2.8 on 10.9.1.
This resulted in a chain of errors which I just can't resolve.
I've done
{{{
sudo port self update
sudo port upgrade outdated
sudo port clean py27-wxpython-2.8
sudo port clean py27-wxpython-2.8
---> Cleaning py27-wxpython-2.8
sudo port install py-wxpython-3.0
Error: Unable to execute port: Can't install py27-wxpython-3.0 because
conflicting ports are installed: py27-wxpython-2.8
}}}
How do I get wxPython installed?
--
Comment:
Looks like py27-wxpython-2.8 is already installed. Go ahead and use it if
you like.
If you want to install py27-wxpython-3.0 instead, you'll have to uninstall
py27-wxpython-2.8 first, because according to the error message, they
conflict (cannot be installed at the same time).
